About SnowJam 2010

SnowJam 2010, the area’s premier snowmobile trail ride, has been scheduled, and we hope you are there with us for this event. The event will be Friday, Jan 22 and Saturday, Jan 23, on the Cass County ND trail system, with event headquarters at Hagge's Bar and Grill, Mapleton, ND. This is the 5th annual SnowJam event. 

Bonfire
Join club members at the warming house for an informal bonfire Friday night. No vehicle parking available -- please ride to the warming house on your snowmobile.

 

Snowmobile Trail Ride
The snowmobile trail ride will start and end in Mapleton, ND, following more than 100 miles of freshly-groomed trail spanning across Cass County. In addition to the trail ride and vintage snowmobile display, the Rural Cass Snowmobile Club is working on several other activities for the ride, including vendor displays, a VIP ride, cash prizes, hundreds of drawings and door prizes and social activities following the ride. And, area businesses throughout the county are gearing up for the additional snowmobile traffic expected that day.

Vintage Ride and Display
Vintage snowmobile enthusiasts with models that are 1984 or older are invited to participate in this display and ride. During the show, prizes that will be awarded will include Best of Show and People’s Choice.

In addition, a trail ride showcasing the vintage snowmobiles will take place from Hagge's,Mapleton, going to Casselton and back.
Marketplace
Join some of our sponsors as they showcase their products and services. The marketplace will be held inside and out of Hagge's Bar and Grill in Mapleton, and will be open all day. 

Snowmobile Safety Simulator
North Dakota Parks and Rec will be bringing their Snowmobile Safety Simulator to SnowJam.  Here's your chance to learn how to balance on a snowmobile as it goes over varying terrain.
 
Evening social
Enjoy food served all day by Hagge's Bar and Grill. Stay into the evening for entertainment by a local band.
 
Please refrain from bringing helmets inside Hagge's Bar and Grill that evening. Space inside will be limited and a helmet check will be provided.
